Profhilo is made up from Hyaluronic Acid, which can be found naturally occuring in the body. The only minor side effects that some clients experience is that there may be slight bruising and/or swelling at the injector area. However, these issues resolve themselves quite quickly, usually 24-48 hours later.

Yes. Whilst “hyaluronic acid” doesn’t sound natural, it can be produced and found naturally in your body. Profhilo doesn’t have cross-linking chemicals like BDDE which means that you don’t need to worry about synthetic chemicals being found in your skin.

Unlike other anti-ageing treatments or cosmetic procedures, there is virtually no downtime with Profhilo. You can continue your daily activities as normal; however, we do recommend to you:

• Avoid makeup and touching your face
• Saunas & Steam rooms,
• Swimming
• Avoid excessive alcohol
• Avoid UV light and sun and apply a good quality SPF
• Avoid any further procedures for 2 weeks

We usually recommend to clients that they have 2 x treatments separated by 6 weeks in order to deliver the very best results. Most clients see results after 5 days.
